Palm Blogging

Today's update has a little twist: I'm using my Palm (not the one on my hand, but the one that has my calender on it) to post it! Fascinating, eh? It's taking a little longer than usual, due to the fairly odd composition of this keyboard. Anyway, things are going well here at the big W, and I really can't complain about life in general. I'd write some more, but I really have to get back to crackin' the books.

A week in the books

Well, today is Friday, and that means another week of school is done up here. A week spent studying phonetics, revolutionaries, and Tennyson. Facinating stuff, really. Well, to be honest, it would have been more interesting if I had just studied Tennyson, but not so successful, as far as grades in other classes go. Perhaps you are wondering, "What's so great about Tennyson?". In which case, I would recommend a trip to the local library, and take a look. Or, if libraries a too socialist for your taste, there is always the capitalist alternative of buying one at the bookstore. The main work in question this particular week was The Palace of Art . This particular poem is quite interesting in its veried descriptive qualities and underlying message. Unfortunately for today's readers, some of the references do require some classical knowledge. How did we waste time before the internet?

So...I guess I'll give this "blog" thing a try. What better way to use up some of that spare time this college student finds himself with? Well, I can think of numerous things at the moment, which is why I'll be ending this post right about now.
